City Council Agendas and Meetings
The City Clerk in conjunction with the City Administrator prepares and distributes City Council and Redevelopment Agency agendas, prepares minutes; maintains an index of all legislative actions including resolutions, ordinances, and agreements.
Regular Lompoc City Council Meetings are held on the first and third Tuesdays of the month at 7:00 p.m. in the City Hall Council Chambers, 100 Civic Center Plaza. The meetings are televised live on the local public access Channel 23 and rebroadcast at 9:00 a.m. the next day.

Business Tax Certificate (License) and Permits
The Department administers business taxes and permit requirements within the framework of the City Code.

Advisory Bodies
The City Clerk coordinates recruitment and all appointments by the City Council to City advisory bodies. If you are interested in serving your local government and community by volunteering services on a City Board, Commission or Committee, please click HERE for additional information.
Municipal Code
Applicable City ordinances are prepared in Code book form and distributed. Copies of the code are available in the City Clerk's Office and Lompoc Public Library. At this time the City Code is not available on the City's website.
Fair Political Practices Commission (FPPC) Statements
The City Clerk is the Filing Officer for election campaign reports and Statement of Economic Interest (conflict of interest) for City Council and Council candidates as required by the State Political Reform Act. Designated employees and members of advisory bodies are also required to file Statement of Economic Interest Form 700 (Requires Acrobat Reader).

Election Administration
In conjunction with the County of Santa Barbara, the City Clerk conducts consolidated municipal elections; advises public officials, candidates for office, and the public of election matters and campaign disclosures.
