Mission Statement:

The Mission of the Building and Fire Safety Division is to ensure the health and safety of City residents through the coordination and enforcement of all building regulations established by State and local government. The Building Division shall provide prompt, convenient and courteous service to all individuals. Our mission includes providing public education to the citizens of Lompoc in an attempt to promote public health and safety which is the very foundation of building and fire codes. Further, the processing of plans, permits and inspection requests will be accomplished in an efficient and timely manner.
