The Finance department is responsible for ensuring the effective and efficient management of citywide resources. The major functions of this department are Accounting, Budgeting, Accounts payable, and Payroll.

Awards

The City of Lompoc was awarded the Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting from the Government Finance Officers Association for the City's June 30, 2006 Comprehensive Annual Financial Report. This is a national award recognizing the preparation of state and local government financial reports that are in conformance with the highest standards. The City of Lompoc has received this award for the last 16 years.
