Centennial Park is a mini-park (0.3 acres) located in southern
Lompoc in the old towne area off of South "H" Street and
Cypress Avenue. Small and quaint, the park has an open grassy area
and several park benches. Centennial Park also features the beautiful
"Jewels of the Valley" mural, a small country gazebo,
a flowery garden, and an art gallery.

The park currently serves as the backdrop
to many traditional old towne activities and celebrations such
as the weekly Farmer's Market, 4th of July Holiday, and Christmas
related celebrations.

The park was donated to the City in 1945 by the Johns-Manville
Corporation. The park was unnamed until 1974, when it was named
in honor of the observance of the City of Lompoc's Centennial celebration.
