2008 Children's Holidy Parade

Parade Line-Up

The Lompoc Annual Children’s Holiday Parade is almost here! This year’s theme is “Holiday Spirit ~ Past, Present & Future” and guaranteed to get you in the mood for the Holidays!

The parade is scheduled for Friday, December 5th . The Parade will assemble at 4:30 pm at the intersection of Pine Avenue and “H” Street. Roll-out is planned for 6:00 pm with the parade proceeding south on “H” Street, turning west on Ocean Avenue, and south to “I” Streets.

After the parade, participants and spectators are invited to gather at Centennial Park, on the corner of Cypress and H Streets for the announcement of parade winners, light refreshments as well as the lighting of the Community Christmas Tree and a chance to visit with Santa. Parade spectators are encouraged to bring recyclable plastic containers with them to the parade. One entry, “Plastics for Playgrounds” will be collecting the bottles along the parade route and at the park to benefit fundraising efforts for new playgrounds in Lompoc City Parks.
