Tree
in our community afford many benefits by providing shade, filtering
air pollution, and muffling noise. They are psychologically important,
by providing a peaceful respite in a busy and stressful world. Communities
and citizens have a responsibility not only to preserve and protect
existing trees, but also to plant a living legacy of beauty and environmental
value for future generations.
A
“Recognition Grove” of trees was begun in 1989 to honor
community leaders for their generous public service. This year the
trees will be planted to honor the following individuals:

Billy “Weasel” Sudden
