The Parks, Recreation and Urban Forestry Department is celebrating the Grand Opening of the Lompoc Aquatic Center on Saturday, October 21st. The public is invited to join the celebration!
The ribbon cutting ceremony will begin at 11:00 am, with activities to follow. Beginning at 11:30 am you can enjoy the free lap swim for adults, lifesaving demonstrations by our staff and volunteers, kids games, food and more!
The PAL climbing wall will be onsite, and there will be children's activities as well as plenty of information regarding our new aquatic programs and how you can participate! Free swimming will be offered in two shifts that will be designated by wristband color. The first swim will be from 1:00 pm - 2:15pm and the second will be 2:45pm - 4:00 pm. - this will allow everyone to swim and have a great time!
