2008 Lompoc Kiwanis Club Track and Field Competition

The Lompoc Parks, Recreation and Urban Forestry Department had over 425 participants in this years Kiwanis Track & Field Championships. There were boy's and girl's competing in running and field events in the 3rd through 8th grade divisions. We had schools and individuals participating from all over the central coast competing to make this one of the premier events in the area. There were a few local standouts: Alicia Tullis 5/6 grade (1st Place - 100 & 220 yard dash), Malindi Malawo 3/4 grade (1st Place – 100 & 220 yard dash) both from RX4 Track Club, Kaitlin Flowers 5/6 grade (1st Place – Long Jump), Terence Babauta 7/8 grade (1st Place – Long Jump) both from Vandenberg Village Jaguars. We would also like to thank the Lompoc & Cabrillo High School Track & Field teams for leading all the events.
