News Release : Patrols To Target DUI Drivers
Comments : No day will be safe for impaired drivers this summer. The Lompoc Police Department will be conducting enforcement patrols looking for DUI drivers starting January 20 through September 30, 2008. On varied days throughout the year one officer will be assigned strictly to DUI enforcement, driving a marked patrol car or unmarked undercover car, so drivers may never know that the car next to them is a police car on the hunt for a DUI driver.
