VACANCIES ON COMMITTEES, BOARDS AND COMMISSIONS

The Lompoc City Council is soliciting applications to fill vacancies on the following Committees, Boards and Commissions:

Beautification and Appearance Commission	1 Unexpired term ending 12/10 (Applicant must be nominated by Councilmember Siminski)
*Mobilehome Rent Stabilization	1 Park Owner Rep. term ending 01/10 1 Tenant Rep. term ending 01/10 1 Unexpired term ending 01/08
Oversight Committee for Park Maintenance & City Pool Assessment District	1 Unexpired term ending 01/08 2 Terms ending 01/11
Parks & Recreation Commission	1 Unexpired term ending 12/08 (Applicant must be nominated by Councilmember Schuyler)

Application forms and information regarding the functions and responsibilities of these committees are available in the City Clerk’s Office, 100 Civic Center Plaza.  Please call the City Clerk’s Office at 875-8242 or 875-8241 if you have any questions.  The application period will remain open until filled.  Applications are kept on file for one year.

Minorities, women, disabled, and low-income persons are encouraged to submit applications.  Applicants applying for the listed Committees, Boards, and Commissions, other than the Youth Commission must live within the Lompoc City limits.

Service on these Commissions is a voluntary commitment for which no compensation is paid.
