Library Cards

You may apply for a library card at any community library. The initial card is FREE. There is a $1.00 replacement fee. Please keep information updated by reporting any changes. A parent or guardian's signature is required for applicants under the age of 18.

Library card application forms are available in both English and Spanish at any community library. Complete the application form and present it with photo identification with your current address. (Driver's license is preferred. If you have just moved, a letter or bill with your current address is acceptable.) An applicant under the age of 18 must use a parent or guardian's identification, and the parent or guardian must be present. A card will be prepared for you and given to you when you register. You can check out 7 videos, 3 DVDs, 7 books on tape, 3 books on CD, and 7 music CDs at one time. You may have a total of 50 items checked out at one time.

Bring your library card whenever you visit the library. You must have your card to check out materials. You will be able to use your card as identification if you borrow desk reference material for use within the library. Without your card, if you can provide photo ID, you will be allowed to borrow items once.

If your card is lost or stolen, please report it to the library immediately. A block will be placed against your file so that no one else can use your lost card.
