The Library Foundation has endowment funds for each library in the District. Bequests and endowments may be directed by the donor to a named fund: Buellton, Lompoc, Village or Charlotte's Web Children's Library.
The Library Foundation’s vision is that in the years to come, the Endowment for Books will grow and the earnings growth will provide a flexible annual income independent of the Library’s operating budget and secure from changes in city, county and state funding levels. |
The Charlotte’s Web Children’s Library Learning Center project is a collaboration with the City of Lompoc in fulfilling the vision and dream of Charlotte Benton (1923-2005).
Grants -- local, State and national-- are being sought along with philanthropic donations from community residents and businesses for the renovation, construction, furnishings and books. The location of this property is 211 S. “I” Street, Lompoc. |
