- The 14th episode of Discover Lompoc is now available for viewing. This episode takes a look at the Lompoc Theater's 80th anniversary celebration. Interviews with Christy McAvory, Aaron Paley, Sue Ehrlich, Frank Signorelli, and others discuss the historic perservation plans that are underway and their goal of renovating the theater into a regional performing arts center. - Be sure to make plans to attend the Santa Barbara County Vintners' Festival weekend in Lompoc from April 20-23, 2007. The 25th Annual Vintners' Festival will be held on Saturday, April 21st from 1-4pm at Lompoc's River Park. Tickets for this event are $75.00 in advance, or $80.00 at the event and can be purchased at the Santa Barbara County Vintner Association Website. Special winemaker dinners are also listed on the Vintners' Association site. Check out the Lompoc Valley Chamber of Commerce website for other local events during the four day weekend, including the Spring Arts Festival, Bodger Seed Greenhouse tours, winemaker golf tournament, mural tours and La Purisima Mission tours.
