 | The Lompoc Parks, Recreation and Urban Forestry Department will be hosting this years Annual Kiwanis Track & Field Championships 2010. There will be boy's and girl's competing in running and field events in the 3rd through 8th grade divisions. Schools and individuals participate from all over the central coast making this one of the premier events in the area. There were a few local standouts from 2009: Raven Wolfe 7/8 grade (1st Place – 2 mile), Mayah Pico 3/4 grade (1st Place – Long Jump) both from RX4 Track Club, Collin Babauta 5/6 grade (1st Place – Shot Put), from Vandenberg Village Jaguars and Nikko Hays 7/8 grade (1st Place – 4 x 100 & 100 yard dash & Mile Relay).
