Every Wednesday from March 11 through April 8 from 2:00-3:00 p.m., children will get to engage in hands-on learning focused on worm composting, ecological systems, and sustainability practices. Lessons are best suited for ages 7 to 12. This program is made possible by the nonprofit organization Let's Go Compost, who provided the library with lesson plans, an indoor composter, and 500 worms. Please plan to arrive at the Lompoc Library by 2:00 p.m. and stay for the duration of the program. Attendance at all sessions is recommended but not required.
