Ryon Memorial Park is a 22.5 acre park located in southwest Lompoc off of West Ocean Avenue and South "O" Street. This community park serves the entire Lompoc Valley and plays host to a variety of community celebrations including the Spring Arts Festival, Cinco De Mayo, Flower Festival, Lompoc Valley Kennel Club Dog Show, the Mexican Independence Celebration, and many other special events.

The older northern section of the park features a group BBQ facility, a children's playground, an elevated stage, many individual picnic areas, park benches, large turfed areas, and large mature trees for shade and wind protection. Click here for information about renting this facility.

The southern portion of the park has more active areas including six lighted tennis courts, a baseball field, a lighted softball field, and multi-purpose football/soccer fields. Ryon Park is the home of the Lompoc Youth Football program.

Ryon Park is the City's oldest park --- with the original (northern section) 7.5 acres donated (by will) to the City in 1910 by Mary Ryon.

The mission style arch which welcomes visitors at the main entrance was constructed in 1916 with funds provided by the Civic Club. In 1962 and 1964, 15 additional acres were purchased from the Grossi Estate enlarging this park from the former 7.5 acres to the current 22.5 acre total.
