    Spring Yard Beautification Contest Winners

    LOMPOC, CA, July 1, 2022 – The City of Lompoc Beautification & Appearance Commission is pleased to announce the winners of the Spring Yard Beautification Contest. 

    Judging of this year’s Spring Yard Beautification Contest took place on Thursday, June 30. Commissioners voted on the winning homes, and City of Lompoc Urban Forestry staff helped facilitate the contest and judging.

    Yards nominated were judged on visual appeal, maintenance, imagination, water conservation, artistic impact and other criteria.  Only yards visible from in a vehicle on the street were considered.

    Winners are as follows:

    Residential: 
    Best Overall: 125 Princeton Pl.
    1st: 1625 W. North Ave.
    2nd: 417 North Z St.
    3rd: 1205 North Third St. 

    HOA/Apartment/Condo Entrances: 
    Best Overall: Glen Ellen 
    1st: The Meadows 
    2nd: Coastal Collection (Purisima Hills) 
    3rd: Laurel Crossing

    Business:  
    Best Overall: Floriano’s (1140 North H St.) 
    1st: Longoria Winery & Tasting Room (415 E. Chestnut Ave.)
    2nd: Crocker’s Lockers Self Storage (224 North A St.) 
    3rd: Dutch Bros Coffee: (812 North H St.)

    Church:  
    Lompoc Foursquare Church, the sole church nominated
