Names No Longer Public For Code Enforcement Violation Reports

    Post Date:10/06/2022 2:52 PM
LOMPOC, CA, Oct. 6, 2022 – The names and other identifying information for those reporting suspected code-enforcement violations in the City of Lompoc will no longer be public information, except in the event the complaint becomes part of a civil or criminal court case, and the reporting party’s name is required for the investigation.

However, the complainant’s name and contact information must still be provided via the online citizen concern form.

The change has resulted from Lompoc City Council’s recent vote in favor of keeping identifying information for suspected code enforcement violation reporters confidential. The City of Lompoc’s online citizen concern form has been updated to reflect this change. The updated form can be accessed at: https://www.cityoflompoc.com/government/departments/economic-community-development/code-enforcement/citizen-concern-form.
