LOMPOC, CA, August 14, 2024 – An official Lompoc City Council candidate list has been established for the Nov. 5, 2024 general election.

The final deadline to file for candidacy in the election was 5 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 14 for open
Lompoc council seat nominations. Aug. 9 at 5 p.m. was the original deadline to apply for an available seat on Lompoc City Council. However, because incumbent District 1 Councilmember Gilda Aiello did not file for reelection to her seat, the deadline for District 1 nomination was extended to Aug. 14.

Nomination was open for the offices of mayor, councilmember for District 1 and councilmember for District 4. The mayor serves a term of two years, while the councilmembers serve a term of four years.
As of 5 p.m. on Aug. 14, the list of qualified candidates who have filed for office is as follows:
