LOMPOC, CA, November 19, 2025 – The Lompoc Beautification & Appearance Commission is pleased to announce the judging criteria for the 2025 Holiday Lights & Decoration Contest. Community members are invited to help spread holiday cheer in Lompoc by decorating their homes and businesses.
Nominations will be accepted beginning the week of November 17, 2025, up until the day of judging, Tuesday, December 16, 2025. Nominations for residences and businesses with outdoor holiday decorations are welcomed for consideration. Nominees must be within the Lompoc city limits. Businesses will be judged separately from residences. Winners will be picked by the Lompoc Beautification & Appearance Commission judges.
Judging categories for 2025 include the following:
A Shining Star (bright/most lights)
A Classic Christmas
A Coastal Christmas
A Space Age Christmas
An Inflatable Christmas (Spectacular Inflatable Displays)
