Application forms and information regarding the functions and responsibilities of the City's committees are available in the City Clerk’s Office, 100 Civic Center Plaza, or by calling 875-8241 or 875-8242. Applications are kept on file for one year. Service on these commissions is a voluntary commitment for which no compensation is paid.

Minorities, women, disabled, and low-income persons are encouraged to submit applications. Applicants applying for the listed vacancies, other than the Youth Commission, must live within the Lompoc City limits.
