    •  10/1/18 – Sit down meeting with County Planning staff to discuss County Preliminary Comments to City’s Sphere of Influence/Annexation Proposal
    • 9/28/18 – Preliminary Comments received from Santa Barbara County Long Range Planning on Sphere of Influence/Annexation Proposal (Attachment)
    • 7/26/18 – City submitted an application request to the Santa Barbara Local Agency Formation Commission (LAFCO) for a Boundary Change and to amend the City’s Sphere of Influence to include approximately 135 acres located in two areas generally located north of West Olive Avenue, south of North Avenue, east of South Bailey Avenue and west of North Z Street and South V Street (Map Attachment).
    • 1/16/18 and 6/25/18 – Sit down meeting with County Executives to discuss an application to be submitted for a Sphere of Influence and Annexation proposal, review of a fiscal impact analysis, and exchange of property tax revenues. 
  • 2017
    • City Council- 7/18/2017 - Adopt Resolution No. 6013(17), directing Staff to proceed with adjustment to the Sphere of Influence, and Annexation of  properties along Bailey Avenue.
