EMERGENCY MEDICAL SERVICES

The Lompoc City Fire Department is deeply committed to providing compassionate, high-quality medical care to those who are sick or injured within the community.

Lompoc firefighters are often the first on scene during medical emergencies and play a critical role in stabilizing patients and delivering life-saving care.

• All Lompoc firefighters are trained to the EMT-Basic level, with many further certified in EMT Expanded Scope of Practice. This allows our team to:
  • Administer advanced interventions under local medical protocols
  • Ensure that residents receive premier pre-hospital care, whether responding to a cardiac event, traumatic injury, or other medical emergencies
