The city of Lompoc, in coordination with the county of Santa Barbara, wants to help keep you informed with up-to-the-minute notifications and alerts in emergency situations. Together with Santa Barbara County, Lompoc can alert residents to potential threats and hazards in our community, from street closures to floods and more.

The ReadySBC program is the leading public education outreach effort for emergency preparedness for our operational area. In coordination with the Santa Barbara County Office of Emergency Management (OEM), the ReadySBC program and alert system provide resources to help you, your family, and our community be ready before, during and after an emergency. Residents are encouraged to sign-up to receive emergency alerts from ReadySBC. Remember - if we can't reach you, we can't alert you!
