The Graphic Novel Book Club (GNBC) is the Charlotte's Web Bookmobile's free summer reading program for 9-12 year-olds. This program is free thanks to a grant from the California State Library.

There are two sessions of the GNBC for the summer of 2019.

In each session, participants receive a free book, meet on the bookmobile parked at the Lompoc Public Library once a week then during the last meeting, meet the author and/or illustrator in the library's Grossman Gallery.

  • Participants must be able to attend all three book club meetings.
  • Limit of ten (10) participants per session.
  • Please note space is limited and we ask that participants limit themselves to applying for one (1) session.
  • Applications are due by Saturday, June 1st.
  • Applicants will be notified by email by Tuesday, June 4th if they have a place in a session and which session. A waitlist will be created once the sessions are full.
  • Applicants must confirm they will be attending the session by Saturday, June 8th. If no confirmation is received by Saturday, June 8th, an applicant from the waitlist will be chosen.
