Home MenuSingle-Stream Recycling
Single-stream recycling or commingled recycling is the system in which all plastic, metals, paper, and other recyclables are mixed into a single collection truck. California state law requires mandatory single-stream and organics recycling for single-family homes, commercial businesses, and multi-family complexes.
The City offers an additional recycling location at 1585 N. V Street for single-stream, cardboard, and newspaper collection. It is open Monday through Friday from 7AM - 2PM. For cardboard recycling outside of these hours of operation, please utilize the bin at the landfill, located at 700 Avalon Street, during regular working hours (including Saturday and Sunday).
